If you’re feeling self conscious about driving BYD... you can always swap it with a Chevy grille. Saw someone do that in Hong Kong.

They were built in Indiana. Not many obviously though. Pretty sure they are road legal here.

Norwegian company actually, and most were built there, but they had a plant in Elkhart.
I get the impression it was actually engineered well but too costly to build.

I followed one of the few of those driving around Chicago. Looks like a bloated Scion xB from the rear and the paint quality is somewhere between first generation Dodge Neon and ex police car Crown Vic.
